I'm non sure if this is a scam or not
A guy simply dm'd me on discord proverb that he accidentally reported me for illegal purchases instead of someone else and that I needed to help clear my own name because the admin wouldn't believe him.
"hey hello? sorry to disturb y'all can we talk over for just a minute because information technology is very important please? i just made a huge terrible mistake and I promise you wont become mad please cause I accidentally reported you for doing illegal purchases instead of someone else, the support said that your business relationship volition be suspended. I'm really sorry I tried to tell him that it was a error profile id but he wont listen to me I'k not joking on steam he said if you lot will not help to explain to him your account will exist permanently suspended on steam that'southward why I contacted you lot I'grand really sorry I didn't mean to report yous bro can yous please assistance me on explaining to him? I told the support that you lot are innocent but he is not listening to me the trouble is he needs to add him to clarify the issue or else you will take the ban."
This is the message I received, followed by a link to my steam account profile and the profile of someone else. I haven't clicked on either and I wanted to know how legit this could possibly be.
